O night divine, O night when Christ was born;

O night divine, O night, O night divine!"

Ever Since By Faith I Saw The Stream....

"Ever since by faith I saw the stream
Thy flowing wounds supply
Redeeming love has been my theme
And shall be till I die!"

"The grandest fact under heaven is this - that Christ by His precious blood does actually put away sin, and that God, for Christ's sake dealing with men on terms of divine mercy, forgives the guilty and justifies them, not according to anything that He sees in them, or foresees will be in them, but according to the riches of His mercy which lie in His own heart. The justification by which comes from God Himself must be beyond question. If the Judge acquits me, who can condemn me? If the highest court in the universe has pronounced me just, who shall lay anything to my charge? ...No tongue can tell the depth of that calm which comes over the soul which has received the peace of God which passes all understanding." (Charles Haddon Spurgeon)

Born in 1834 and died in 1892, Charles Haddon Spurgeon was England's best-known preacher for most of the second half of the 19th century. Here was a man who lived to the full - he was all out for God. It is unlikely that any of us can compare remotely with his God-given brilliance, but we can all ask God for something of his devotion to the Savior and his love for souls. "In returning and rest shall ye be saved, in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength."

(Isaiah 30: 15)

Rest is vital for spiritual reneweal and growth. When the stress of our life tears at us, we can rest in the fact that God is God and there is no one like Him. He is infinite in wisdome and power. when problems arise and we cannot see clearly, the one thing that quickly restored a sense of peace is the realization that God is in control. No matter how uncertain life may appear, this truth provides a tremendous sense of strength and stability.

Have blessed day ahead one and all!

True love comes quietly without banners or flashing lights. My love for you can't be measured. Through nights of endless pleasures...by my side my love, through eternity my love. I'll watch you sleep, so quiet and free; It's clear to me now....My life will always be complete, only with your love next to me.

See the beauty in the eternal blue. So lovely, so serene and so peaceful to look at. Just like the unclouded blue sky.....

Friends and relatives lol! yikes but I am still busy. It's better to be busy than to be idle coz "an idle mind is a devil's workshop.." I hope all of you not just care for the materials but also look into feeding your souls with God's word. Life is painfully short and nobody knows when they're gonna die...right? Money, sex, fame are but short-lived pleasures that don't satisfy and most often bring sorrow and conflicts....plus the eternal punishment in the bottomless pit. But why should you let your soul suffer such an unspeakable eternal sufferings when God has provided the way to eternal salvation? I once asked my father what was the meaning of "bottomless pit"....He said that the sufferings there goes on and on and on and on...coz it has no bottom...so it's on and on and on and on...of hellfire and brimstone....!!! Oh dear readers.....death and hell are real, otherwise God the Father would not have had seen it fit to offer up His Precious Son to die for the sins of the whole world! This is the simplicity of the glorious gospel and I'm gonna tell it as long as I can till my last breath!!! Do not look unto man for when he stumbles, you will stumble too; but "look unto Jesus who is the Author and Finisher of our faith..." Praise, glory and honor be unto God forever and ever. Amen.

Blessings to all,

"To reason against one's own life is a sort of constructive suicide of which only a drunken man would be guilty. To argue against your only hope is like a foolish man sitting on a bough and chopping it away so as to let himself down. Who but an idiot would do that? Yet many appear to be special pleaders for their own ruin. They hunt the Bible through for threatening texts; and when they have done with that, they turn to reason and philosophy, and skepticism, in order to shut the door in their own faces. Surely, this is poor employment for a sensible man.

Dare to quit all other hopes: venture all on Jesus; I say "venture" though there is nothing really venturesome in it, for he is abundantly able to save. Cast yourself simply on Jesus; let nothing but faith be in your soul towards Jesus; believe Him, and trust in Him, and you shall never be made ashamed of your confidence. "He that believeth on Him shall not be confounded" (1 Peter 2:6)

I know many very decent people who seem to have resolved never to come to Christ till they can understand how the doctrine of election is consistent with the free invitations of the gospel. I might just as well determine never to eat a morsel of bread till it has been explained to me how it is that God keeps me alive, and yet I must eat to live. The fact is, that we most of us know quite enough already and the real want with us is not light in the head, but truth in the heart; not help over difficulties, but grace to make us hate sin and seek reconciliation...Let us not by carping criticism, destroy our own mercies...

God has not mocked us with a salvation which we cannot understand. BELIEVE AND LIVE is a command which a babe may comprehend and obey.

"Come in! Come in!" is my pressing entreaty. Why are you standing outside is my solemn inquiry. Linger at the gate no more....

Doubt no more, but now believe

Question not, but just receive-

Artful doubts and reasonings be

Nailed with Jesus to the tree.

More than 2000 years ago, a simple carpenter set out on a three-year journey that forever changed the world, Jesus of Nazareth. Today, this same Jesus still transforms the hearts, minds and lives of all who know Him. My dear readers for nearly 4 years now on Yahoo 360, I have been posting blogs about Jesus because I believe that He is the only Light of this sin-ravaged and sickness-stricken world and that He is the only Hope of every living soul. Amidst my busy schedule, I always find time to blog for Jesus because I want people to know Him and accept Him as Lord and Personal Savior of their lives. I did it one day and since then my view of life has changed from a worldly-purpose driven life into a spirit-filled soaring life in praise of God every day. My dear readers, Jesus cares and He is waiting for you to open the door of your heart to Him. Let him in.

Clytie,

"Lord, I lift Your name on high;
Lord, I love to sing your praises;
I'm so glad You're in my life;
I'm so glad You came to save us.
You came from Heaven to earth;
To show the way,
From the earth to the cross,
My debt to pay,
From the cross to the grave,
From the grave to the sky;
Lord, I lift Your Name on high!"

The sacrificial death of the Lord Jesus was the supreme expression of a loving God. That death, that sacrifice, that proclamation of unending love was for you and for me. So how can we perish? How can we be deserted in the hour of need? The price is paid, the ransom accepted. Jesus says, "I have redeemed." This is done and can never be undone. Dear readers, more than 2000 years ago, Jesus walked this earth and redeemed us from eternal damnation. He was the only perfect sacrifice acceptable in God's sight so that it is "by grace that we are saved and that not of ourselves, it is the gift of God, so that no man can boast."

Because He Lives, I Can Face Tomorrow!

he that believes in Me, though he were dead,
yet shall he live!"

Because He lives, all fear is gone!
Because I know, He holds the future,
And life is worth the living

God the Artist

God, when you thought of a pine tree,

How did you think of a star?

How did you dream of the Milky Way

To guide us from afar?

How did you think of a clean brown pool

Where flecks of shadows are?

God, when you thought of a cobweb,

How did you think of dew?

How did you know a spider's house

Had shingles bright and new?

How did you know the human folk

Would love them like they do?

God, when you patterned a bird song,

Flung on a silver string,

How did you know the ecstasy

That crystal call would bring?

How did you think of a bubbling throat

And a darling speckled wing?

God, when you chiseled a raindrop,

How did you think of a stem,

Bearing a lovely satin leaf

To hold the tiny gem?

How did you know a million drops

Would deck the morning's hem?

Why did you mate the moonlit night

With the honeysuckle vines?

How did you know Madeira bloom

Distilled ecstatic wines?

How did you weave the velvet disk

Where tangled perfumes are?

God, when you thought of a pine tree,

How did you think of a star?

Knowing a few facts about somebody does not mean that you know them. We must consider Jesus. Every aspect of Him, His deity, His entrance into the world, His Father, His Mission, His commands to us and more. We should endeavor to know and understand great and weighty eternal realities -- even asking God to show us things we've never even considered. I told the Lord in prayer that I want all the wisdom and knowledge of Him that I can get on this side of eternity.

After the joys of earth, after its song of mirth, after its hours of light, after its dreams so bright...what then? Only an empty name, only a weary frame, only a conscience smart, only an aching heart. After this empty name, after this weary frame, after this conscience smart, after this aching heart...what then? Only a sad farewell to a world loved too well...only a silent bed with the forgotten dead...what then? Oh, then - the judgement throne, then all the woes that dwell. Oh then - the last hope - gone! In an eternal hell!....But why must you go to hell when Jesus saved thee well...He triumphed over hell and in Him all hopes dwell.

"The most excellent study for expanding the soul is the science of Christ and Him crucified and the knowledge of the Godhead in the glorious Trinity....There is something exceedingly improving to the mind in a contemplation of the Divinity. It is a subject so vast, that all our thoughts are lost in its immensity; so deep that our pride is drowned in its infinity." (C.H Spurgeon)

I share with you three songs that uplift the soul and spirit. Enjoy the songs, cherish the lyrics and praise God. You can listen to these three songs on my home page and you are free to download them as well. Thank You!

Because He Lives

God sent His son, they called Him Jesus
He came to love, heal, and forgive.
He lived and died to buy my pardon,
An empty grave is there to prove my Savior lives.

Because He lives, I can face tomorrow.
Because He lives, All fear is gone.
Because I know He holds the future,
And life is worth the living just because He lives.

How sweet to hold a newborn baby,
And feel the pride and joy he gives.
But greater still the calm assurance,
This child can face uncertain days because He lives.

Because He lives, I can face tomorrow.
Because He lives, All fear is gone.
Because I know He holds the future,
And life is worth the living just because He lives.

And then one day I'll cross the river,
I'll fight life's final war with pain.
And then as death gives way to victory,
I'll see the lights of glory and I'll know He lives.

Because He lives, I can face tomorrow.
Because He lives, All fear is gone!
Because I know He holds the future
And life is worth the living just because He lives!

I Surrender All

All to Jesus I surrender

All to Him I freely give

I will ever love and trust Him

In His presence daily live

I surrender all, I surrender all

All to Thee my Blessed Savior

I surrender all.

All to Jesus I surrender

At Thy feet I humbly bow

Worldy treasures all forsaken

Take me Jesus, take me now

I surrender all, I surrender all

All to Thee my Blessed Savior

I surrender all.

All to Jesus I surrender

Lord I give myself to Thee

Fill me with Thy love and power

Let Thy blessings fall on me

I surrender all, I surrender all

All to Thee my blessed Savior

I surrender all.

Jesus Take The Wheel

She was driving last Friday on her way to Cincinnati
On a snow white Christmas Eve
Going home to see her Mama and her Daddy
With the baby in the backseat

Fifty miles to go and she was running low
On faith and gasoline
It'd been a long hard year

She had a lot on her mind and she didn't pay attention
She was going way too fast
Before she knew it she was spinning
On a thin black sheet of glass

She saw both their lives flash before her eyes
She didn't even have time to cry
She was so scared
She threw her hands up in the air

Jesus, take the wheel
Take it from my hands
?Cause I can't do this on my own

I'm letting go
So give me one more chance
To save me from this road I'm on
Jesus, take the wheel

It was still getting colder when she made it to the shoulder
And the car came to a stop
She cried when she saw that baby in the backseat
Sleeping like a rock

And for the first time in a long time
She bowed her head to pray
She said I'm sorry for the way
I've been living my life

I know I've got to change
So from now on tonight

Jesus, take the wheel
Take it from my hands
?Cause I can't do this on my own

I'm letting go
So give me one more chance
To save me from this road I'm on

Oh Jesus, take the wheel
Oh, I'm letting go

So give me one more chance
Save me from this road I'm on
From this road I'm on
Jesus, take the wheel
Oh, take it, take it from me
Oh, why, ooh

(Performed by Carrie Underwood)

Music is the language of the soul. What music is best to listen to but that which uplifts the soul and spirit and even the heart and the mind. The Psalms of David are clear proofs of how powerful music is in bringing comfort and joy  to our being. I encourage you to listen to the above three songs and ponder deeply upon the message each song conveys to us. I wish you blessed days ahead. God bless you all!

From our limited human perspective, we cannot know with certainty how to interpret life's experiences. We must learn to view the events of our life from the divine perspective. God has a plan for our lives. Knowing this will cause us to look ways to serve Him in everything we do. We have a sense of destiny because we know that God has placed us where we are for a purpose.

Sometimes we may be "in a fog" when we try to understand the Bible. We struggle and strain, but we cannot see the beautiful truths that lie within the passage. It may even seem as if God is keeping them hidden from us. Don't forget that we always need the illuminating help of the Holy Spirit. It is not God who wants to keep us from grasping the wonderful truths of Scripture; it is His enemy. The devil knows that we can't put into practice what we don't comprehend. But when we seek the Holy Spirit's guidance each day, He will clear the fog so that we can see the marvelous truths within God's Word. Without the light of God's Spirit, we'll be in the dark about God's Word.

Many people come to a sad end because they worship the wrong gods. Some are wicked, having made a god out of sensual pleasures. Others are decent people, yet they have worshiped the wrong god. The apostle John admonished us, "Do not love the world or the things in the world...For all that is in the world - the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life - is not of the Father but is of the world" (I John 2: 15-16) This can apply to any pursuit that becomes central in our lives. When we love anything more than the true and living God revealed in the Bible, we are worshiping it. Whatever it is, it won't last. And it won't be able to help us when our plans shatter, our health fails, or death beckons. Only the true God can help us then.
